About the Librarian

I am:

A girly girl kinda girl. Whose hands are covered in dirt more often than not. From the prairie ocean, called, “North Dakota”. Who adores wedge heels, But goes barefoot most of the time.

Loves: coffee more than water, dresses, faith, family, books, quiet, libraries, prairies and open horizons, church/abbey architecture, pens & paper, chant, and choral song.

Where Palestrina & The Rolling Stones coexist on her iPod; Who’d like to speak fluent Latin to command her dogs, and only confuse priests at church; Who sings Joni Mitchell tunes while curling her hair, solves word-a-finds like a pro, reads Catholic Apologetics, Gothic Romances, and children’s books.

Who runs more than she walks, running 10+ miles every day. Sometimes into things. Often, doorways. She laughs more than she talks, listens better than she speaks, and always writes what she feels.

Knowledge is Beauty. Belief is Faith. Information is Power.
